Non-urgent advice: Reception & Administration Staff

We have five receptionists working in the surgery, who are experienced, and have received comprehensive in house training. The receptionists work under the doctors’ guidance and are here to ensure the smooth running of the surgery so that the doctors can offer the best possible service to you. They will assist you with booking appointments, taking messages, results of tests and other enquiries. They have a difficult job to do and are here to help you, so please be flexible and courteous to them – they will always try to meet your requests but may be unable to do so immediately. The receptionists are not expected to offer medical advice. We also employ a medical secretary who deals with referrals and an Administrator who assists the Practice Manager and Secretary.
